Les just wins, Why Alabama shouldn't get another shot!!!
 

1. LSU must still go through the rest of the SEC including Arkansaw to get to the National Championship game.

2. Dispite the close score which will always be the case with two top notch Defenses going against one another Alabama lost at home, I don't think they should get another shot, it should be LSU's title to lose versus anyone who comes up on the BCS undeafeated.

Les just wins, I heard this stat before the game on one of the radio shows and it kinda boosted my thought that LSU would win

Les Miles is now 31 - 1 versus ranked opponents on their home fields, Tigers fans embrace it you are an Arkansaw victory away from the National title game.

Bama should get another shot. Any other team in the country can not handle Bama. If Bama does not get another shot then LSU and Bama will turn whoever they play in the BCS games into toilet paper. Human emotions aside, these are the two best teams in the country.

OBVIOUSLY.... the nation witnessed Number 1 & Number 2 compete and Number 1 won.

Now that the silliness is out of the way, I went to bed thinking if both teams win out, then there should be a rematch. However, if there are still undefeated teams other than LSU at the end of the day, then they(whoever is still undefeated besides LSU)would have to get a shot since 'Bama already had their's...at home, btw.

I am not only an LSU Homer, but I am an SEC Homer as well.

With that being said; here is my opinion.

LSU and Alabama are still unquestionably STILL the #1 and #2 teams in the Nation. Do I feel Bama if both them and LSU win out, earn the right to play for the National Championship???? Yes, I do. However, I do see it this way....

If LSU goes undefeated and wins the SEC Championship and another team, lets say Stanford or OK State, go undefeated one of those guys plays in the National Championship game. Could one of those teams beat Bama? Hell no. You all know it just like I do. No matter what the Rankings say today Bama is still the #2 team in the Nation. That's just how it goes being in the SEC. If you don't win the Conference....you don't go to the "Big Dance". It sucks for Bama but that is the world we live in; for now.

I give all respect to Alabama. They have a great team. No doubt about it. The game could have gone either way. LSU could be sitting where Bama sits today. The only difference is; LSU won.

So, as much as I don't like it from a football fans point of view. Bama, you had your chance last night. It didn't go your way. The only thing I could tell you is you do have the unquestionable right to say BAMA is STILL the #2 Team in the Nation.

As for my T.I.G.E.R.S. TIGERS! I am very porud of you young men. Now worry about one game at a time. Don't focus on being National Champions. We still have to win against Ole Miss, Arkansas and the SEC Championship game. Thats 3 SEC Teams we still have to play. Anything can happen in the SEC. ONE GAME AT A TIME!

Indeed, not to be overlooked... It was at their house. Bama had their shot, and blew it. Sucks to be them. Karma is a biatch Saban!

Understatement of the year!! My frickin nerves were so bad I smoked almost a pack of cigs just in those 3 hours. I barely smoke a pack a day.

What a game!! How can any other team in the FBS actually think they can hang with us. IF we make it to the BCS game, we will show the world why the BCS is stupid and we need a playoff system.
