If every game counts, LSU should already be a national champion
BIRMINGHAM, Alabama -- One controversial vote is over. Oklahoma State can understandably be frustrated by the BCS, but the two best teams are probably playing in New Orleans on Jan. 9.
However, be mindful about gloating, Alabama fans. One month from now, you could be on the other end of a controversial vote if Alabama wins the mother of all rematches. Alabama wins the BCS title. LSU wins the Associated Press title. Not only could it happen, it should happen if LSU loses to Alabama in a competitive game. If college football continues to force-feed us the convoluted BCS system, then every game better be counted. Alabama lost to LSU in Tuscaloosa on Nov. 5. You can bring up how Alabama gained more yards than LSU, or how the Crimson Tide's kicking game went awry, or how the refs blew an interception in LSU's favor (no, they didn't). Bottom line: LSU beat Alabama. Read more. If every game counts, LSU should already be a national champion | al.com |

This game is retarded and I'm boycotting it, but hoping LSU wins. Oklahoma State or better yet virtually no one deserves to play LSU - who is the only unbeaten team!!!!!

I hope LSU spanks Bama this time around ... their offense is working a bit better now... and it will be in LSU's back yard this time!
|
I expect LSU to take it by at least 6.
Homefield, turf, LSU speed... Nom nom nom! |
So if the Saints beat Green Bay, I guess the Saints shouldn't go to the Superbowl?
Bama 24 LSU 19 |
