After a lengthy lightning delay interrupted the fourth quarter of the North Carolina-South Carolina game, play resumed with a jolt—and this time it wasn't weather-related.

Twitter exploded with analysis after what appeared to be a late hit on USC's Jadeveon Clowney by Tar Heels offensive tackle Kiaro Holts.

Holts falls down well after the ball was thrown, slides across the field and appears to divert his force into the back of Clowney's knee.

Clowney wasn't injured on the play, but it did get a lot of people talking about whether Clowney should sit out this season.

Why should people speculate if Clowney should sit out the season? To protect himself for the NFL draft? Yeah, that was a bit of a cheap/late shot, but that's what lineman do ... no harm, no foul, :).

Sit out the season!
He looks like he was sitting out of training camp the way he was blowing out his backside in the first 10 mins.
If he sits out the seasin he will be the size of vince Wilfork come draft day

It's football. Unfortunately if you want to be in the NFL you will have to play at some point.
