Texas high school wide receiver recruit throws Hail Mary touchdown — to himself
In early April, Manvel (Texas) High junior wide receiver Gary Haynes told Rivals.com, "I'm really working on my speed right now. Like my straightline speed, like track speed. That's why I'm running track."
Less than a month later, Haynes' offseason work appears to be paying early dividends, as the unranked Class of 2015 recruit showed off his blazing speed by throwing a 50-yard pass to himself in a Vine post. We all remember former Vikings quarterback Brad Johnson throwing a touchdown to himself against the Panthers in 1997, but that was a cakewalk compared to this ridiculous display of athleticism. https://mtc.cdn.vine.co/r/videos/525...V6fjT9RdUAO68c read more |

Looks phony. When he releases the ball it appears to go dead right, then disappears off the screen.
I suspect someone else threw the real pass after he started running. |
