Mike D. - Numbers Don't Lie - LSU has More Players in NFL than Bama

The numbers don't lie.

From 2008-2014, in the Les Miles era at LSU, look how many players have been drafted:

USC-61
LSU-60
Georgia-51
Alabama & Ohio State-49
Oklahoma-46
Florida State and Florida-42

You're right, number don't lie.

Championships during that span...

Alabama - 3
Florida - 1
Auburn - 1
FSU - 1
LSU - 0

Roll Tide!

True, but it states Les Miles era.

Les still has LSU producing more NFL players than Nicki @ Bama.

And really thats the problem. The players become almost too good and leave as soon as posible to go make millions in the NFL.

And then there are many (LSU players) that aren't truly ready to make the transition from college to the pros. Sometimes it's ok to stay in school for one more year of 'seasoning'.

And yet Nick has 3 championships in the Les Miles era, and Les has 1.

Perhaps the players at LSU realize what a buffoon Les is and all want to bolt early?

By the way, even with "inferior players", Saban has a 5-2 record against Miles since 2008.

Danno, no one is going to argue against you that Alabama isn't the creme of the crop when it comes to college football. There's Bama and then there's everyone else. We know.

Now back to the topic... LSU produces the most NFL talent in the SEC. Good for us and it looks like with addition of Cam Cameron and LSU ambassadors in the NFL, the trend looks to continue for the foreseeable future. Hopefully we can start out recruiting them and start winning some more championships. I excited to see how the new playoff system works.

But the OP specifically called out Bama, and not UGA, FSU, OSU, AU, OU and UF

Just playing along...:p

And when Bama was down LSU fans jumped on us relentlessly. I haven't even come close to the venom that was spewed then. Karma perhaps?
