TEXAS AND LSU TO FACE OFF IN 2019 AND 2020

The last time Texas and LSU met was the Cotton Bowl, capping the 2002 season, a game won by the Longhorns 35-20. Roy Williams was the star with four catches for 142 yards and one touchdown reception with another score on a reverse.
In a related development, an industry source said Texas and South Florida have agreed to play games in 2019 (Austin), 2022 (Tampa) and 2024 (Austin).
For Texas, LSU replaces Notre Dame as a marquee non-conference opponent in those seasons after the Irish canceled games with UT in those seasons.
