LSU band to step in for South Carolina, play fight song
Classy move!
BATON ROUGE, La., Oct. 7 (UPI) — South Carolina is playing a home game at its opponent field this weekend, but the LSU Tigers are doing its best to make the Gamecocks feel at home. The Tigers marching band will play the Gamecocks’ fight song and alma mater during pre-game festivities, according to WAFB sports anchor Jacques Doucet. The 3:30 p.m. Saturday game was moved from Columbia, S.C. to Baton Rouge, La. Following disastrous floods in Columbia this week. The Gamecocks’ band will not travel to the game. “We want to support South Carolina in anything they want to do,” LSU coach Les Miles said during the SEC teleconference. “We have been through weather issues here.” LSU band to step in for South Carolina, play fight song - Breitbart |
