But to win an SEC and possible national championship, they have to tackle and they have to bring pressure.

Dave Aranda had a very passive game plan. The blitz got to Ehlinger the few times LSU brought it, but for no apparent reason, they would go back to a four man rush and near prevent type of alignment in the secondary, and got picked apart in the intermediate area. Anyone could have seen that there was nothing to lose by coming after the QB, and yet Aranda sat back on his heels and watched his defense record exactly zero stops in the second half.

The offense looks phenomenal, with the exception of the running game being a little underwhelming thus far. LSU is hiding some elite talent at RB, on the bench, and I'm not sure why that is, but I think that will come around. Joe Burrow is making NFL throws, and those back shoulder passes looked very familiar. Watching LSU come out passing in their last drive, to put the game away, instead of sitting on the ball and playing not to lose (which usually results in losing) was the defining moment for me. After almost 15 years of watching LSU go into a shell at the end of games, that was incredibly refreshing.

Dammm u covered everything I saw last nite , nice. Yes we did go in prevent on D I guess because a running QB but it failed to stop him anyway he looked for a crease and shot up for big Gains at times . The RB can’t make the first guy miss , that will be trouble in the sec especially bama. Hope their hiding the RB that can do that. Heliere looked slow to start but did get better.D backs have to quit worrying about pics that’s there no1 problem. And play football
