How Bout Dem Cajuns and Dem Wave!

Hard to get any love when you're down the road from Red Stick, but I loved watching both these teams this year even if Tulane beat my mom & grandpaw's alma mater. Good job to all the players, coaches & staff to both pretty cool small conference schools. |

Re: How Bout Dem Cajuns and Dem Wave!
He's going have to. Brees can't run and his arm strength for the deep ball isn't there.Opposing D's will eat our lunch, the dink and dunk will work to a point but our D better be top notch with a top notch run game for Brees to be effective.I get the frustation. We need a thumper and Kamara(who has a totally different skill set) ain't it. Nothing new to me I've wanted a Henry type back for years that is where Brees and Kamara could thrive. A 2 back set with Brees under C would open up play action keepin D's honest. I'm really surprized he didn't run more of a 2 back set with Murry

Re: How Bout Dem Cajuns and Dem Wave!
Trey Ragas, RB, Cajuns - 5'10" 218 lbs. 3rd-5th Rd projection. Can catch outta the backfield, too. His Combine will only make his stock go up as I dont really see him falling past the 6th regardless of a bad Combine.
Raymond Calais, RB, Cajuns - 5'9" 185 lbs. 4th-6th Rd projection. Smallish but versatile, just not as much as Ragas from what I saw. Interesting to see what his measurables will be. Cajuns OLine was pretty good and nearly all of them showed versatility playing in different positions. 1 or 2 will be late round picks. Thakarius Keyes, CB, Wave - 6'1" 200 lbs. 4th-6th Rd projection. Raw but good size. Good open field tackler but needs some work in technique & ball skills. |
