I've eaten..

Gator
Bear
Elk
Rattlesnake
Ostrich
Conch
Turtle
Frog
Iguana
Fish Eggs
Goose Liver
Beef tongue
Sheep Brains
Rocky Mt Oysters

So yeah, I'd eat a gar if properly prepared.

funny, you put beef tongue on that list, Michael. Im hispanic, and among my brothas, beef tongue is just as normal as chicken wings. Of course we also eat guts
and cow stomach lining soup, so what do we know?

water moccasin? holy crap. uh uh... cant do that... moccasins are strictly for shooting, at my house.

Im thinking we might be the champions among NFL fans of eating nasty things.

No doubt about it, cuisine is a regional/cultural taste. When I moved from Baton Rouge to Montana, people there couldn't believe we would really eat crawfish. Of course I couldn't believe they are rocky mt oysters either!
