My Mailbox...
Or what's left of it.
A kid hit my mailbox Saturday night. I was in the house and heard this BOOOOOM!!! My little girl asked me "What was that?" I told her “That was my mailbox!” I knew immediately what it was because I’ve heard that sound before. I ran outside in case they were trying to drive off, but this car wasn’t going anywhere. This is what the damage looked like Sunday morning. If you look at the first and second picture, you can see my neighbor’s house across the street. I found bricks in his yard, close to his garage. The black streak in my yard and in the street is his engine oil. Luckily, the kid wasnt hurt, just a couple of scrapes from his airbag deploying, but the car was probably totaled. I picked up a whole wheelbarrow full of car parts out of my yard. I even found an oil cooler and a piece of his engine block. You can also see part of the grille and both headlight rings. Yes, it was a BMW. |
