The only reason why he would not deport immigrants is to hopefully indoctrinate them, become their hero and have their votes. No path was established to citizenship so now he has less use for them. Don't think that's exclusively a liberal/Obama idea, Republicans also have political uses for the immigrant masses. Just saying, hypocrisy abound on both sides the aisle. But Obama is in power now and immigration is a card he has delt, or hidden, thus far. As far as local laws on immigration, YES the federal government has failed to do it's job. They do an OVER THE TOP job nowadays with the largest IRS operation in history, but can't address the borders. FAIL. |
