Here is the thing I am not gay BUT I dont care if you are. That being said. I would not refer to anyone who is black by a derogatory name SO why should I refer to someone who is a homosexual by a derogatory name. I am not an amazingly PC person - BUT I do try to avoid insulting people directly or indriectly, when I can help it. None of us are perfect but the whole "ghey" thing is kindof stupid & more than a little immature. Their have got to be better/other words we can use to get our points across!! (i know - this statement make me "gay") ![]() |

This is a slippery slope. I suggest that people participating on an internet forum grow some thick skin and a spine rather than start policing everyone's speech. |

are calling someone who's not gay gay, then I can see it as derogatory, but I thought it was proper to call gay people gay. Am I wrong? Did I miss something? Saintfan, you live in, or near San Francisco. Don't they celebrate Gay Pride day out there? (I'm not incinuating that you're an expert by the way) Is that derogatory? If so, I say that celebration needs to end immediately. Maybe I'm seeing this whole thing all wrong. One thing I do know, I've already spent way too much time on the subject than I really wanted to spend. |

I got called a cracker today. I just laughed, nodded, and said "Yeah, you're right", and took another bite of my sandwich. People need to friggin relax man. |
