It is impressive, especially considering people of his position in life tended to look down on the masses back then ... and considering he had to know he was basically signing a death warrant by helping the Jews in Nazi Germany ... you gotta' admire the guy for doing what he could.
The circumstances surrounding his disappearance & death were pretty interesting also, typical KGB/OSS, espionage stuff ... thanks for the read, Crusader. |
