Besides good sandwiches, soups, chili, coffee & donuts, Tim Horton's also sponsors youth hockey in Canada ... all the Canadian greats started out playing 'Timbits' minor hockey, even Sidney Crosby was a 'Timbit' at one time ... they're in every rink of every town in Canada ... ... you also have to know a little bit about Tim Horton himself ... played defense for Toronto & won a few Cups ... he was a legend before he went into the donut & coffee business. So you see, that is the appeal of Tim Horton's ... it's not just 'fast-food', it's an institution, part of the culture, a respected member of each and every community ... you can walk into any Canadian ice rink today and I guarantee 95% of the patronage in there is going to be holding a Tim Horton's cup, and the other 5% is either thinking about it or they've just thrown one away ... no kidding. ![]() |
