The one thing that makes you wonder is that all of the aforementioned cities are nowhere near a border. One would think that a border patrol station might be located within at least walking or biking distance from an actual border. It reminds me of my drive back from South Padre Island when I drove up on a border patrol station 100 miles in from the USA/Mexican border. While we all were completely on US soil, we had to show identification, but subjected to a possible vehicular search and so on. Which reminds me, what part of identification credentials does our illustrious AG, Eric Holder, object to again?
