As a fan, it's hard to blame Jack for leaving early. The Lakers were much more watchable in 1993 and 1994 when they had losing records. You had some young guys like Van Exel and Peeler and veterans like Divac and Threatt who were at least playing hard.
It's not about the losing, it's about the way the team is being run and coached. The team is not playing together and they've turned the Lakers into a toxic environment. The good young players are too few and they don't get the minutes they need anyway. I can handle the failed expectations and losing, what Jack and I can't handle is watching a team play that has its head up its ass.
