Re: Hoping for a 'fresh start,' mother abandons child in woods
Not good. Everytime I find the one I like on line, Academy and Bass Pro-shops are sold out.
I'm hoping its just a panic phase and all the stores eventually get re-stocked. I'm too ignorant about them to buy from a pawn shop, so I'm sure I'll overpay But I'd feel more comfy buying from one of those chains, especially for my 1st one. My current fave is a S&W M&P Shield ![]() Thoughts? |

A little hint on gun purchase economics. I shop gunbroker.com for a few reasons. 1. Buy from out of state and I do not have to pay sales tax ![]() However you can nearly always find what you are looking for. S&W shows the retail around $460, may be able to get it cheaper through an auction. Have you held that pistol? I recently sold my Sig MK25 because I apparently have t-rex thumbs and had to rotate the pistol to reach the de-cocker. So I am sticking with 1911 models. My paws also extend down below the magwell on most compacts. Here is a picture of my Nighthawk Custom Knights Templar #29 of 100. Its a collectable. |
