The pilot in the Blue Angels F/A Hornet was was retiring from the Navy and this was his last flight.

The flight was over San Francisco Bay and the pilot intentionally broke the sound barrier and broke windows in several of the boats.

The Mustang was a great fighter.

But my vote for sexiest piston-powered aircraft is the Chance-Vought F4U Corsair.
