"Use it or Lose it" is how military budgets are managed ... if you don't spend the money on your current budget, your next budget is cut back the unspent amount.

That stuff won't be wasted, they'll issue surplus uniforms to the newbies coming into boot camp, give 'em to one of our allies as military aid or ship it all off to the Marine Corps ... they'll wear anything, :lol:.

The new uniforms with Velcro was a pretty piss-poor design if you ask me. BDUs are all buttons and flaps to cover the buttons so they do not get hung up on netting, the only buttons that could get caught up are the two waist cinch buttons when I always removed with their tabs for the field.

Who in the hell want's to move under cover and hear an inadvertent velco rip?

They went fashion over form and that can be dangerous for combat soldiers.
