Help us discover new orleans
 

Hi everyone,
Its finally time for a trip to New Orleans for me and a few friends.
Been supporting Saints for a long time but never had the opportunity to actually visit NO. Coming from Europe its a pretty long trip.

Anyway, im curious if you guys have any advice on places to go for a true authentic new orleans-feeling.
We're visiting during Mardi Gras and Fat Tuesday, and i suppose we'll spend some time exploring things connected to mardi gras.
But on the other hand we're all very keen to experience the non-touristy parts of new orleans.

Basically im asking for advices on good restaurants and music clubs that arent packed with tourists. Jazz/Blues-clubs mainly.
We're staying in Treme, so specifically around that area would be nice.
