What about pre-season? :lol: Sid & the boys came into town Wed and gave my Winged Wheelers a little lesson in "puck control", :( ... brushing up on my trivia for this season, what was that question from last years playoffs, "Who is/was the second best goalie from CT (or HAMDEN) after J. Quick?"

Uh-oh, Flyers are a member of the Black & Gold Hockey Group "Original Six" (or 14, whatever) ... the favorite teams of the original members who formed the group in it's inaugural season, :). There's also that little matter of the '95 Stanley Cup Finals, ;). You may have just committed a bit of a faux-pas, :lol: ... but it's always open enrollment in the Group, even for Devils fans, ;).

Battle of the Turnpike, round #1, goes to NJ. Congrats, :).

I did kinda' warm up to the Devils when they originally got Parise (MN), though. :)

Unlike some other Devils fans, I don't have any hatred for the Flyers. I absolutely loathe the Rangers. But, not so much the Flyers.

I only knew two other Devils fans in LA, and they were New Jersey natives working at the plant with me. They have since transferred leaving me surrounded by Flyers and Red Wings fans.

I'm pretty encouraged by what I've seen from the Predators so far.

Peter Laviolette was a great hire. He's given us a competent offense, to go along with our already great defense. Nashville could potentially make some noise this year!
