Yep, of Yankee legend, this one.

Played on those great Yankee teams of the '50s. Batted left, threw right (just like me, :)). Never seen him play, of course, but did get to see him in his brief managerial career with the Yanks, and knew him mostly for his "Yogi-ism's" ... " Always go to other people's funerals, otherwise they won't come to yours. " , he once said. Seriously.

We'll be there in spirit, Yogi. RIP.

I had the honor of meeting Mr Berra. He was one of the nices people i have ever met. Thank you Mr Berra for taking time to talk to a Red Sox fan. R.I.P.

Hated him in my youth but as I aged I really appreciated him and his humor.
