Very surprised that he was allowed to do that. When I visited about 5 years ago the Place was swarming with armed cops that didn't want anybody to even get close to the pyramids.

Yeah, really! Thought that was some kind of National Monument or something, #scratchhead ... might have to put that on my "bucket" list now,
