God I hate Comcast
 

So last night I'm sitting there in bed with my wife waiting on kickoff.
Laptop in Lap. Cold beer in hand in the Live section. It was myself, Halo, spkb25 and one other. I'm just kind of chit chatting with the guys and bam. TV goes blank, laptop loses connection. My daughter starts throwing a fit in the other room where we had put a movie on for her. I looked at my wife and said, You have GOT TO BE KIDDING ME. Call Comcast, canned message. "There is an outage in your area, we expect to have services returned by 11:15 p.m." This is insane considering it is SUNNY outside. It ALWAYS, ALWAYS happens on the weekend. I don't really watch much TV during the week. But I swear it works flawlessly during the work week. How in THE HELL can you not have your best service available on the weekends? I really don't understand it. IF there was a storm, I get it.
I live in Mississippi. Yesterday, it was HOT AS HELL in my area, that was it.

Last year it happened right before Week 1 kickoff. I kid you not. I missed half of our first game because of these idiots. Every time I see one of their trucks in my neighborhood I get nervous. Either they are fixing a screw up or are about to cause another one.

I just wanted to vent. There really is no point other than I needed to blow some steam. Thanks to anyone who reads or is in the same boat.

It's actually happened to me with Directv. The timing of when it happens is mind boggling.

Time Warner here. I've had to watch the World Series and yesterday's Saints- S'hawks game on FOX's Apple TV app because the TV controller was spitting out digitized crap, but only for the channels I wanted to watch... of course.

I had a long conversation with a nice young lady in the Philippines that did nothing to improve the viewing.

Face it, they all suck.

I never had a lick of trouble with DTV. Truly never, and at one point in my earlier years I had the dish mounted in a 5 gallon bucket of pennies on my apartment balcony.

When it ever came a true frog strangler I might lose signal for a minute or three, but that was extremely rare - and maybe 4 or 5 times in a decade.
