That's not even a differing political veiwpoint, it's just saying "hey, leave your politics out of entertainment". And they STILL fired her, I guess because ESPN takes such pride in being a hack political organization, as much or more as being a sports network, these days, that Linda's comments offended them. ESPN used to be a giant in the sports world. They just couldn't leave well enough alone. Now they are almost obsolete. |
If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.
