Kevin Hagan's Joe Sam Keeper League, 2019 Results, LM Notes

Great Run, Chris! Like the Saints you kept tweaking that roster right to the end...

And congratulations to our newest rookie team, LouisianaSpankDaddy, who had a sweet run as well with the runner up placement.

This season probably had more parity than we've ever seen - know Hagan would be grinning at the results, and proud of 'em...

We've got two Black and Gold members who've requested to join which is keeping with Hagan's tradition of B&G Members, so we'll need to make some room...

How? As much as I love my keepers, but know how it sucks when you've got to give up guys you've worked to acquire (twice to me), am proposing the following for this off-season:

First, We'll Declare Limited Keepers by the Superbowl, so we can relax and enjoy the Lombardi Gras!

For this season, Current Team GMs will only be able to keep three on offense, three on defense, AND one current Saint on offense and one on defense so we can all satisfy the homers in all of us!

That means I'm giving up either CantGuardMike or Alvin Kamara, so I'm that serious about doing this.

If there are no more than four objections, I'll make the changes for the New Year and will need y'all to have your Keepers declared in the one week window after January 1, 2020.

Also, I'd like to see us have co secretary/treasurer, separate from the Commisioner, to collect league fees for an award's pot. Kevin and I had discussed in a ten (10) team league doing the following:

League Champion/Gold Medalist gets 5X Annual Dues

Runner Up/Silver Medalists gets 2X Annual Dues

Mr. Consolation/Bronze Medalists gets 1X Annual Dues

High Season Total Score gets 1X Annual Dues (includes playoffs)

High Game Score gets 1X Annual Dues (includes playoffs)

The last two are to keep everyone interested throughout the season...

I'd humbly nominate Larry (Guido) to manage this for us in that capacity...

We can do this through PayPal and start off at a modest $10 for the first year; if there are any PayPal fees we can all allow for the deductions that service will likely take, whoever is Sec/Tres can manage it...

I'd like to have the Awards plan in place by the Superbowl...

Other considerations are moving the draft date to earlier in the year, maybe even trying to start using the draft trade picks options...

Couple of housekeeping items:

Under team settings, there's a field for designating an abbreviation for your team, please use a reference to your Black and Gold call-sign/username; it makes the transition easier for all...

Also, Kevin really liked seeing the pot stirred, as the ESPN site is very "busy" we're gonna try something different...
