my bad, he is that respected. he came to lafayette this fall and the ole lady did'nt want to spring the 90 bucks to attend.

I am fortunate to have seen this guy twice in concert. Many years apart, but excellent both times.

Greatest Pianist Modern era. That is tough. Not so much the greatest but one I like for his performances and inventive composing - Ryuichi Sakamoto
