I was looking into Rocksmith though, could use my PS3 and get some more use out of the mancave.

It is every bit worth the $ for RS. I went with PC format for a reason, I have 360s, a PS3, laptop, PC etc.... it isn't out for Xbox One. You get around 30 (top of my head) songs that come with it and a hundred or so more you can buy through Steam at $2/ song. Customs forge has over 5000k free songs on it all for PC, some of those are xbox some are PS3, but all are in PC format. PC format is by far the best value format and you can do things with PC to address latency etc... With a console, it is what it is.
