Cam Newton Released

Not at all surprised. Fig Newton hadn't looked good all camp. Actually he's looked average going on 2+ years now. Not to pile on but BB can't count on Newton. Missed time last year due to Covid, now a "misunderstanding" as we approach the 2021 season.

Bellichick probably didn't even flinch. It's a business.

It's Mac's team now.

Bill waived Cam AND Bryan Hoyer. Two seasoned vets with tons of real game wins and experience ...

Now it's all on Mac. I hope he does well but again I have my doubts. Let's see how he processes things when those pockets collapse, and they will in the NFL.

** Edit - Patriots brought back Bryan H today.
