Not at all surprised. Fig Newton hadn't looked good all camp. Actually he's looked average going on 2+ years now. Not to pile on but BB can't count on Newton. Missed time last year due to Covid, now a "misunderstanding" as we approach the 2021 season.

Bellichick probably didn't even flinch. It's a business.

Cam had a good run in Carolina..and run he did. Before he left Carolina he wracked up a lot of injuries and it appeared he was never the same QB. Once again the old saying...Not For Long

Bill waived Cam AND Bryan Hoyer. Two seasoned vets with tons of real game wins and experience ...

Now it's all on Mac. I hope he does well but again I have my doubts. Let's see how he processes things when those pockets collapse, and they will in the NFL.
