I could see them interviewing just so they can say they did their due diligence and then giving him the job. All things considered, he didn't do a bad job.

I heard today they have to hold an interview process according to the league protocols. That came from the Raiders beat writer. He also said not expecting Bisaccia to be retained. That's sucks if he isn't given a valid shot. His players love him from what the writer said.

I thought he did a great job considering the circumstances.

Here's an early guesstimate on the coaching hires from one of the MadDog Radio hacks. Not a Saints coach on the list. That'd be fine with me.

I think Flores would fit better in Minnesota than NY.

I think Byron Leftwich to the Jacksonville Jaguars would be a great fit. And as a former NFL QB he should have the ability to help Lawrence develop into the player he can be.

I think the Raiders would be stupid to pick Harbaugh, he has done nothing of note at Michingan and didn't impress me with the 49ers.

Harbaugh to the Dolphins is what I keep hearing ... IF he leaves Michigan. Miami owner, Stephen Ross, is the world's biggest Michigan fan and donor and loves him some Harbaugh.

Several waves of coaching interviews yesterday (Tuesday) and today (Wednesday), but still nothing on Pete Carmichael or Dennis Allen. Crickets. Former Saints' coaches Joe Lombardi and Aaron Glenn have both been talked to so far about openings.
