That puts a city/state in a tough position. You don't want to be the one that cost the city a team, but you also don't want to be the one that broke the bank on a stadium.

It's beyond time to push back and to not place on the tax payers the burdens of a new stadium... unless the owners relinquish ownership/control of the team in return. In other words, every team becomes the property of the locals, like GB in their region.

My best guess is Nashville will cave in and build the stadium, the area is growing too fast to allow the team to leave. If the stadium isn't built, I am sure Memphis, St. Louis, San Antonio, or even Dallas may be candidates. (Yes, there is talk floating around of having two teams in the DFW area).

Yep, that's about it ... talk. Why would "team B" want to be the second fiddle in town anyway? San Antonio or Austin would be better scenarios.

Most owners would knock the notion of welcoming another team in Dallas down in a heartbeat. Good ole Jerruh has more power and influence than people think.

The brotherhood in the NFL is real.

Huge area and Jerry can win by charging rent on his stadium. It is projected that area will over take Chicago as 3rd largest metro in a couple year, both NY and LA have two teams.

Well, every part of the metroplex will want it. OakCliff (South Dallas) will argue with Allen/Frisco (North Dallas), the NW will argue with the NE. Everyone will butt heads (partially why they lost) in this.

While everyone was arguing, Arlington came in a proposed a terrific offer .

Despite the financial side that you brought up, a second team will be the second fiddle. There will be other untapped markets & possible International options.

Just don't see it happening in Dallas but hey, I've been wrong before.

Houston may beat them to that punch in terms of population, not that it matters.

If Titans move, San Antonio is the logical choice. They really need to add two more teams and be done with it . It reduce the leverage the owners enjoy now. As I stated earlier, all teams need to be locally owned by the people .

That was the point of discussion when the subject was first raised. Expansion would happen WELL before any consideration of moving from a growing Nashville.
