I think he might be a little better than who they already had on the roster but, there is still a lack of talent around him.

Agreed an upgrade, sure but that's not saying much + talent around him.

I like Mayfield. He isn't a top five QB, probably not even a top 10 but he is a decent thrower and can be effective in the right system.

Considering the defence the Browns are building I am surprised they even traded for Watson, I mean Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson won SBs riding great defences.

Yeah, I’ve never been down on him. Think he wants to win. If Watson gets suspended and Mayfield is gone then who QBs the Browns?

He's better than Darnold. Possible "bridge" until Corrall is ready to be the guy.

Only cost the Panthers a conditional 5th rounder & 5M.

That's a great value.

Sucks for him he has to face the Saints twice a year though.
