Good question.

What I found interesting is that Mariota and Dalton's numbers this season are damn near IDENTICAL.

But the most important stat is that MM has 5 wins as a Falcon. AD - 3.

I always liked him. I thought based on what he showed in college that he had the chance to be special. Too bad for his injury. I will say that he has earned over 60 million dollars playing football in his career. So that should ease his pain.

Mariota does have 3 games on Dalton. I do remember wanting Mariota as a stop gap instead of Winston but after seeing how he's been playing with the Falcons, him being here would piss a lot of people off. Olave would be criminally underutilized. I really thought he would be a damn good NFL quarterback. Oregon qb prospects have been fool's gold.
