Details of Lamar Jackson Contract

Not bad $ if you can do it. It's basically a 3-4 year deal. Whether he gets another contract after this one remains to be seen.

They need to go get DeAndre Hopkins and go all out.

Anthony Richardson could be even better.

We'll see if he's Jamarcus Russell part deux or what you're saying.

He’ll be better than Russell simply because he can run and he’s in amazing shape. Have you seen him on the white board?

I have seen him against LSU. He did display some crazy athletic ability, helpful in situations to avoid the pass rush and sacks. But he takes too long to read and process and merely completes about 55% of his passes. And it assuredly won't be any easier in the NFL, even if he has/got SEC experience, which really only one full year. Can't run for your life on every play. I got the sense he was already feeling the pressure of having been drafted so loftily. We'll see obviously.

Jalen Hurts proved folks he could do it. Props to Jalen Hurts for putting in the time/work and improving each year.

Anthony Richardson compares to Josh Allen in many ways from what I've heard coming out of college. Richardson 55% completion, Allen 56%. QB rating 134 to 138.

Err... it's a little more than the percentage completion difference, probably.

Just looked at the Colts QB depth chart.

Gardner Minshew, Sam Ehlinger, Anthony Richardson & they recently released Nick Foles.

They'll take their lumps for a year or two.

Florida’s weapons didn’t do him any favors. He’s in the perfect situation: a coach who wants him and who designs systems specifically for his skill set. I’m excited to see him develop.
