For those not keeping up this victory for Gruden means that his lawsuit against the league will take place via public court rather than through an arbiter which was preferred by the league. Gruden may or may not have what it takes to win the suit, but it will not be behind closed doors now. The bad news is it now may take years to be heard and resolved. My wife has over 200 cases in open lawsuits and most take several years to either be thrown out, settled, or eventually reaching litigation.
