Rookie Salary Cap
 

Was just curious and wondered if anyone knew why the NFL would not adopt some form of rookie salary cap. Would the NFLPA not think it is in the best interest of the current NFL players to have a salary cap. Have players earn that big contract after proving it on the field. Seems like it would help out struggling teams that draft in the top 10 by not having to fork out crazy amounts of money on prospects that might pan out.
