Very sad news. I always liked old Merlin. Wasn't he the FTD guy forever?

Thatis NFL before air conditioned domed stadiums on artifical turf.

Olsen was a big supporter of Osmond family Children's Miracle Network Telethon and supported Children's Hospitals.
He also played a character on Little House on the Prairie.

Condolences to Merlin's family and friends. I'm in the generation where I remember Merlin more from "Little House" than I do from football. I'm sure he sacked more than a few Saints QBs back in the day, but they didn't count 'em back then.
