Sam Bradford signs six-year, $78 million contract
Rams signed rookie QB Sam Bradford, the No. 1 overall pick, to a six-year, $78 million contract, including $50 million guaranteed.
He'd better not bust. Signing the first $50M guaranteed deal in NFL history, Bradford can make another $8M in incentives. The 2008 Heisman winner will be in camp at the time St. Louis hoped -- ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports the Rams were targeting Saturday for Bradford to practice all along. Though there is concern about Bradford being a "system" passer, he learned plenty of pro-style concepts at Oklahoma, particularly early in his college career. We expect him to outplay A.J. Feeley in the preseason and be positioned to start Week 1. Sam Bradford |

The rookie pay scale needs to be fixed... and I think it will happen soon when the CBA is re-done. With that said, I think Bradford will become an elite quarterback in the league.

Now go earn it !!!
