Comparing him and Brees in regard to leadership is funny. Philip just yells at everyone and throws his helmet like a big baby. I can never see Drew showing up his teamates like that.

Rivers is a clown. It think the Bengals should trade for him. Would love to see him and TO fighting on the sidelines.

Always thought this guy was a complete tool ever since i saw him argueing with cutler, comparing him to brees is ridiculous. Brees is not only the better all round player, better QB and is a team first guy. Motivates his guys to play better!! Phillip Rivers just puts a downer on everything and is a baby!

That reaction is an easy target for ESPN and other media sources to have a hay day with. You can call that reaction whatever you please but it was also affective!

I love how ESPN and all of bull sh*t, bias media sources can talk about Rivers jawing 24/7 but when it comes to his stats, win/loss record, success, etc... they lose their voice.

He may be a lot of things but any team (with the exception of Saints, Ponies, and Steelers) would kill to have him on their team!

Keep in mind that Brees has 4 years experience over Rivers as a starter and 5 over all. It took Brees 8 years... Rivers has time!

Just curious... do any of you ever talk about the Dolphins for choosing Culpepper over Brees?

Question: Those of you saying that Rivers doesn't have any leadership skill... how would you define playing in the AFC Championship with two blown knees?

It really doesn't matter to me. I wont say I like him or dislike him. He's not a Saint and that's all I care about. But he's no Drew. We were blessed when we got him!
