The player should shut up already and take the owners offer. There is always other guys out there that can step in and take their job. If there is a strike or lock-out I wanna see replacement players.

I think the NFL has more than proven before that the show will go on and there will be a team regardless. With that said, I'm glad we won the Superbowl "before the lockout!"

I would hate to be the team who wins the SB the year of a scab season and have an asterisk* next to that season for all time.

Yes there will be a season. I'm sure they're smart enough to realize not to let it happen again... there's just so much money to be lost if a lock out happens and no one benefits.

I'm siding somewhat with the players this time around. The owners need to learn they cannot just run wild with whatever idea trips their trigger, like 18-game season and revised playoff OT rules.

I think it is very possible that if they haven't reached an agreement at the 11th hour, they will suddenly sign a very uncontroversial one-year extension of some kind, at the last minute, just to keep things rolling, since everybody loses if there is a total lockout. They are probably negotiating with that already in the back of their minds -- the real deal they are working on, and also talking behind the scenes about what both sides might agree to in an interim patchwork deal if needed.
