I want to know
How in the hell is it that anything Brett Favre's sister does, legal or otherwise, is SPORTS news, and why in the hell ESPN would link to the story on their web site?
I am absolutely and completely annoyed by this. If Favre were to be implicated then fine, post the story, but his sister? :brood: |
There going to end up giving Brett his own reality show before it's all over with...

Everybody has a black sheep in the family but not everybody is a future shoe in hall of fame QB.
|
Not everyone has a backstabbing, whiney douchebag named Brett in their family either who lies about retiring and acts like Oprah.

Couldn't agree with you more. I couldn't care less about Favre, his sister, his tractor or his texting habits. He stopped being news when Tracy Porter ended their season last year.

They did the same thing with Brees's tragedy. It's what the media does, anything to get eyes on their station, channel, publication. I respect Favre and wish he would have retired last year but like a lot of greats they'd rather go down in flames. I still don't think he's done. If someone offers him a backup position and he can play he'll be there.

Cover Favre. Fine. Cover him in retirement. Fine.
But his sister? On ESPN? The ENTERTAINMENT AND SPORTS PROGRAMMING NETWORK? Sports. Certainly not. Entertainment? I am not entertained by the knowledge that someone who is a professional athlete has a sister that just got busted. I go (or went) to ESPN for SPORTS news. |
In today world, yep thats news. Brett Farve sister druggie
