Football laugh of the day
Now I do see the Lions as an improving team, but that's only if Matthew Stafford can stay healthy. For Suh to say that they can go 16-0 is ridiculous. Hell, it's ridiculous for ANY player to say that ANY team can go undefeated. He must be talking about going undefeated on Madden.
Stafford can't stay healthy, he's a good player when he does, but the shoulder gives him the same problems every single year. They can be a good team because they do have talented players like CJ but 16-0 NO.
I agree. It's ridiculous for any player to say his team will go 16-0 (or 18-0) in March...or any time. But it is possible for detroit to have a very respectable showing this year. Detroit went 6-10 last year. Three of the losses were by 14, 16 and 21 points, but six of the losses were by 8 points or less, with four of them by 4 points or less. They even beat Green Bay in week 14. Detroit lost several close games last year, games they could have easily won. If the ball had bounced their way a little more last year, they could have been 10-6 or 11-5 instead of 6-10. So me personally, the NFC North better not take Detroit lightly this year. If they do, they will regret it.

Well, guess I don't blame him. He's supposed to think that way, right?
I agree that the Lions will be improved this year.
I also agree that it is fine for Suh to think/believe the Lions, (or any other team), can go 16-0. After all, he simply said they COULD go 16-0. I personally think gasoline will return to .25 a gallon before it happens, but my hat is off to him. |
The Lions is actually a team I hope will do well. Just because their fans have been suffering for a looong time. Same thing with the Browns and the Bills.
