ESPN fires Hank Williams Jr
|
Let me ask you Hank,"Why do you drink, why do you roll smoke, why must you live out the songs that you wrote." They can't take your 5'th admendment rights, but they can take a man's paycheck away, can't they.
|
I've been hearing that song since the 5th grade, that's 1984 when the USFL was still around. It's time to move on despite his comments.
Kid Rock would be a nice change. |
Never liked it...but if they replace it with another musical performance, I won't like that one, either.
Well...on 2nd thought...they could replace him with this guy and it wouldn't suck for me... |
Goes to show you when you pop off your mouth and your a celebrity they will fire you. Something tells me ESPN was going to fire him and he quit just so their hands didn't get dirty
|
I hope Faith Hill gets fired too.
|
"Um, right. Hank apologized on Tuesday in the hopes of keeping the only thing that has kept him relevant for the last 25 years. And now that he’s being pushed, he’s trying to make it look like he jumped.
The sad part is that plenty of people will believe that Hank wasn’t fired, and that he actually did quit." Wether what Hank said was right or wrong, that's for each of us to decide for ourselves, however, I think Hank Junior needs to go over to NBC and kick the **** out of Mike Florio just for being the ass that he is. |
27 years of cashing in is not to shabby. He probably has one of the longest NFL contracts. I personally never like him but his dad that's another story...

No great loss!!

Am I the only one who thinks ESPN overreacted on this one? It's not the worst thing I've heard people say about the Prez. I'll keep my opinions on him to myself, to save this thread from turning into a political sh*t storm, but for them to fire him for some dumb comment that most of the nation is already thinking is asinine. Just my opinion though.
