In a way I'm kind of sad to see him go, because Payton really had his number whenever the games actually mattered, and could beat and rattle him like a gong behind the drummer at a heavy metal concert. I was hoping Raheem would hang on for a while and just limp along there in Tampa Bay, looking super cool on the sidelines with his headset on, saying funny stuff at press conferences, and not being much of a coach. I'm not worried about their talent, but now we will have to adjust to a new coach for the Bucs, which will put a few wrinkles in the season next year especially at the first meeting...But man that was a team yesterday that had clearly just GIVEN UP. The worst part of yesterday is that now the Falcons fans will get all pumped up and full of themselves, thinking they actually beat somebody yesterday. "We put such a beatdown on them we got Raheem Morris fired" etc.
