They remind me of my dogs when I walk back in the house after being gone for 5 seconds because I forgot something, and they act like I have been gone for 6 months!!!

All that DVOA stat really shows is that the Falcons run the same exact unimaginative offense every single series, and thus are consistently good at beating weaker teams worse than them, and consistently good at losing to superior opponents, which is exactly what happens to them week in and week out to arrive at that DVOA statistical number. This year, last year, year before, same story. Being consistently GOOD, meaning slightly above mediocre, is not going to get you very far in the playoffs, where other teams are typically GREAT.

DVOA sounds like a Crock-O-**** to me. I didn't know what it was, so I had to go look it up. Found this article here that explains it.

I didn't read tbe whole thing, but I read enough to know all it is is someone making educated guesses based on past statistics to predict future game. Hell, I can do that with just about the same accuracy as the predictions shown in this article. If the Falcons are using this as a measure of how good they are, they truly are desperate.
