Angry Atlanta fan

**A lot of vulgar language**

Thank God I'm not from ATL | NOLA.com

Talk about your angry birds...

ScottF 08-08-2012 07:40 PM

I like the Al Sweringen picture

SloMotion 08-08-2012 07:52 PM

:roflmao: ... 24-2, I imagine that's piece of NFL history we will never tire of revisiting, :roflmao: ... I'm still trying to figure out what upset him more, the fact ATL lost 24-2 or the fact he was stupid enough to ink his arm with their logo,.

Now that was some funny sh!t. I can't help but point out one glaring detail..which in hindsight is the reason there fans suck and there team sucks. This dude is a self proclaimed "Falcon till I die" fan. He has a tattoo of the dirty bird..yet..YET..he doesn't even know who his OC is?

There fans are just "playing" like fans cause everybody else is doing it. They don't know what REAL fans are.

I'm just going to say what I said in another thread. He's just a fairweather fan. Only supporting his team when they're doing good. I'm sick of those type of fans here in Atlanta. He'll be back in september.

This needs to be bumped in the Atlanta sucks thread every time they lose a game.

Disagree.
Hawks: don't sell out, even playoff games
Flames, Thrashers: moved
Braves: lots of empty seats despite success, and playoff games have tons of away fans
I have gone to the Saints game here for 9 years. Always at least a couple thousand Saints fans there, although that number has dropped as the Falcons season ticket number has risen. A lot of fans in my section are transplants who cheer for the Falcons except when they play the Saints.
Atlanta epitomizes fairweather-fan-ness

I don't know of two many fair weather fans that get tattoo's of the team they support.

The more appropriate statement would be: He is a TYPICAL Atlanta fan, where as a self proclaimed die hard fan like yourself is the MINORITY.

That has been posted countless times directly from YouTube on this site. I wonder if NOLA.com is perusing this site now for some of their content?

Wouldn't surprise me, we definitely have the coolest & most fun Saints community around the net.

True Atlanta fans are like any other true fans in of other teams. They show support no matter what happens and always are there when things get bad. There is just an unusual amount of fairweather fans due to all the people who move to Georgia from different states.

That has been my observation as well. However, the actual fan base is not as strong as many cities.

I am a season ticket holder for both Atl & NO. I get 3 emails a week from the Falcons about ticket availabilty. I get one letter a year from the Saints, which basically says there are NO extra seats available, for any game.

Excuse me, gentleman ... if I may interject, but I need to award a point here ... "game. set. match." - ScottF.

What did I tell you about bringing facts to the internet?

that said, I do feel a little bad for going to Thrashers games for nine years and never once supporting them....
