DeMarcus Ware pondered retirement after neck injury
"I went out there on the first third down of the game, and they ran the ball and hit me," he said. "Now, the Saints don't ever run the ball on third down. They did that to get me. And you know what? That ticked me off."
(Saints haters and conspiracy theorists, feel free to file this quote away for use on your favorite message boards.) "I was like, 'Oh, you guys want to try to hurt me again, don't you?' So then I told (then-Cowboys coach Wade Phillips) to put me in on first downs. And then, second downs, too. And each play, I got more and more confidence about it." Hah. Too bad he won't win a Super Bowl.

Re: DeMarcus Ware pondered retirement after neck injury
We run on first down. What the hell is this guy trying to sell? So every time we change a scheme or make an adjustment its a bounty? He's just whiney because he is not with a winning team. He will never sniff a playoff win.

Re: DeMarcus Ware pondered retirement after neck injury
So the offense wanted some of that bounty cash.
What a load of....... |
Re: DeMarcus Ware pondered retirement after neck injury
People who start a sentence with "I was like"...
You either "were", or you "were not", ... DeMarcus... You were not "like".. |
Re: DeMarcus Ware pondered retirement after neck injury
Come back when you win on the big stage ware
When we won "I was like" :D lmao |
Re: DeMarcus Ware pondered retirement after neck injury
Ware's strip of Brees preserved a win for the Cowboys that day.
The boys don't have a lot of team accomplishments they can brag about so it's only natural that Ware would like to point out his individual highlights. |
