This was the game, had Peyton won, that would have put me full onboard with his comeback ... as it is, I'm still a skeptic. Manning is trying to spin it as something other than a lack of arm strength, but those picks came off very un-Manning-esq type throws ... they looked weak and behind the receivers.

Not throwing him under the bus, actually thought Peyton looked good in a Bronco uniform on a Monday Night ... just looking forward to the Broncos returning (somewhat) to the glory days of when they had an 'elite' QB and think it's still premature to assume Peyton is going to be able to come back 100%.

They had 4 turnovers in the first half and still only lost by one TD. That makes me feel better about ATL being 2-0.

After last night, it's apparent the Falcons are a first half team...

Peyton is not his old self and still almost mounted a huge comeback in the 2nd half...

Agreed that the INTs looked like ducks, and Peyton's arm strength looked off. But still, I was impressed w/ ATLs defense. They were swarming, aggressive and flying all over the place. Not to mention their scheme seemed to be confusing the heck out of Peyton. I've heard a lot of talk here about Asante Samuel being garbage, but the way he looked last night, I'd take him on our team right now...

All of those picks were purely because of very good plays by the safeties and Robert McClain.

Who cares about that shoulda coulda woulda stuff. We won. That's all that matters.

Did anybody notice that by the end of that game the Falcons were very tired. They were given a huge opening and won the game, but they DID give the Broncos a chance to get it back..... the Broncos just didn't pull it together.

It will be interesting to see how the Falcons hold up against a better team.
